europe trip highlights

ive gone to europe, and yes my dream has been very much fulfilled :) ive seen the most beautiful architecture, flowers, icecapped mountains, flat land and its all enough to last me for an entire lifetime. i'm beginning to appreciate even more the beauty of my surroundings, especially flowers! and coincidentally when we came back to singapore, there was mass blooming of flowers along the way. be it the sakura-like trees, the golden showers, the purple and pink of bougainvillas, so so beautiful... its the long drought followed by rain that caused the flurry of blooming activity as i was told by my husband, the effects of global warming which brought about the ironic sense of nature's adaptability. ok back to the highlights of my europe trip. (i want to document this down so that as i read back, i can reexperience the happiness and free spiritedness of my travel bug heheh) day 1 and 2: took the longest flight of my current life (13h) to rome da vinci airport. i watched like 2 movies and a hk drama and slept fairly well throughout the flight. the weather was cool and in the morning, we started our touring to vatican city. i was awestruck by the sheer size of st peter's basilica. the white exterior was beautiful, with statues of the various saints atop the building. i was simply blown away at this stage. as we entered the basilica, every single corner has a painting or sculpture and there's some pews for people to kneel and pray. there was also a swiss guard on duty at the door where i think VIP guests enter. the tour guide told us that there was a door whereby it opens every 25 years or so, and all catholics will walk through and it means that all sins have been forgiven. next stop was the colosseum (yes gladiator). unfortunately, there was some scaffolding as the place is undergoing reconstruction. but nonetheless i enjoyed being there, looking into the interior although we couldn't enter because it would take almost the whole day to finish the queue, climb up the levels and then down again. wj's regret was probably not entering there and not being able to get an eagle's view of the entire place. for me although i secretly wish i could go up and shout downwards to see if there's any echo, but hey all the tourists there would probably think i'm mad! :D next stop was trevi fountain, where i tossed 3 coins. there's actually meaning for each toss, however now i cannot quite recall, i guess i can look back at wj's video as a reminder.. haha the free time we had, we walked down the streets near the fountain, and bought gelatos (of course in italy you have got to eat their gelatos!) wj's pistachio was awesome and my tiramisu was great as well. our sweet tooths were happily fulfilled. there was a little incident whereby at the meeting time, we just could not find our tourist group. we approached 2 police officers who were on duty at the fountain, and after some explanation (of course there's some language barrier even though they generally understood what we were talking about after some agonizing minutes) they brought us to a hotel whereby we could use the wifi to try and contact james. however we sent whatsapp or viber called him proved to be futile. i was pretty panicked, and we decided to stay nearer to the fountain and wait for james to look for us. it was that time that i noticed mary and her mum who stayed behind. we approached them and stayed close, comforted in the fact that we are no longer 'lost' well, my regret then was not being able to look at the spanish steps which is supposed to be the widest staircase in europe, and via condotti, one of rome's most elegant shopping streets. streets i'm interested, not the shopping... so thats it for day 1. day 3: we travelled on the bus for 2hours or so (can't remember cos most of our travelling is on the bus, the longest being 4.5 hours, anyway..) to leaning tower of pisa. the area has a cathedral nearby and green expanses of grass which i love to jump onto. of course we did not enter the tower but happily took pictures around it. we had like 2 pizzas for lunch, it was awesome! we especially loved the quadro formaggi one. (yumz, just thinking about makes me salivate hoho) next stop was florence. i love the sculptures there as well, and i think there was a replica of David (if i did not get confused) and wj took a cheeky picture of me finger pointing at his penis. LOL saw the multi colored duomo, st john's baptistry, took pictures of ponte vecchio bridge. along the way i also saw artists at work sketching the scenery, there and then i was wowed by the fact that there are so many arty people in europe! wished i had that kind of talent sometimes ;) for dinner we had florentine beef with red wine, it was good! and there was entertainment by a 'band', a soprano singing to a harmonica accompaniment. there was much joy as they invited people to dance and everyone had a jolly good time! although there was an awkward yet funny moment as i struggled to cut into the beef and the head waiter (or boss not sure) came over, took my knife and shaking his head, he cut the steak into portions for me. day 4: the weather was getting colder as we headed to venice. travelled to the jetty from main island and took a motorboat to the other islands. once we stepped on land, i was immediately enamoured to the beautiful architecture (yes i'm a sucker to sculptures and exterior of buildings)the various type of shophouses, living quarters, relaxed restaurant setting... wow! we also queued for our gondola, and while it headed out to sea to make a turn into the inner parts, there was a jerk and we were there screaming our heads off (well not really screaming but exclamations that go WORRRRR!!!) wj even joked to shift his weight and i gave him a light punch hahah! anyways there was no romantic singing by the gondola rowers anymore unless you request and paid for 20plus euros?! difficult times do scratch away the pride... after that we headed to st mark's square and whereever i turn i'm surrounded by beauty! there's st mark's basilica, doge's palace and so on... of course there were flying pigeons and seagulls and they gather at the centre of the square as people feed them, as i revelled in the freedom of these birds, i did not notice i was being shat on, till i happen to look down and lo and behold, there was a green stain on my sweater! Ewww* Not to forget we had lunch at this eatery that james introduced. the seafood spaghetti was great, but the lasagna was disappointing. yes it was salty like most italians like it. we had a cup of capucino(thumbs up) and hot chocolate accompanying our meal, pure awesomeness :) we walked and of course bought icecream along the way, licking happily to pure bliss. we then met up with the group and headed to a glass factory where we saw a short demonstration of how the glassware was created. while looking at the showroom, the assistant showed us a glass that acts like a budaoweng, can roll back and forth, i thought it was soooo coooolll.... along the way, our group stopped at the bridge of sighs to take pictures. this is where capital prisoners will glimpse their last beauty of their city before being imprisoned for good never to see the light of day... venice was getting windier and colder and i got wj to surrender his hoody jacket. *Brrrrr... shivers at the thought day 5: travelled on the bus, along the way noticing the austrian icecapped mountain range, with a waterfall coming down even, the flat green expanse of the fields, occasionally interspersed with yellow flowers.... i was as usual busily feasting my eyes and committing most of what i see to memory. i did not think much of austria before, but after this trip, austria has become one of my favourite countries! of course i always have many favourites and often unable to pick out which is really my love, but nevertheless, its ok! yes the weather has dropped to i think 0-1 degrees when we finally reached salzburg (yea one of my favourites too). this place was mozart's birthplace and also the setting for the sound of music. wj's fingers were so cold that we ran from one end to the other end through a garden overhanging passageway(much like how the kids did in the scene of sound of music) i haven watched the movie at the time, but was still able to relate to it because i performed some songs for choir, and really brings back memories of sec sch choir days. *awesome of course there was a bridge that links the old town and the new town. (again i'm a sucker for old town new town linked concept) i marvelled at the streets, and fountain sculptures (of course the architecture, europe's full of them, churches, etc!)took in the sights of mirabell palace, residence square (yes almost all the european city sqaures made me go gaga), mozart square and of course his birthspot, no 9 getridegasse street. we could also see the music academy over there and i was awed just being present. during the breaktime because it was soooo cold, we hid at the oldest cafe and ordered cafe melange, again bliss! as we discovered free wifi over there and informed the rest who were also hiding in the cafe, a pity that we did not order any cakes though, but the slices all looked awfully sinful keke! after that we headed into the chocolatier and bought the original mozart chocolate that was handmade and supposedly quite expensive (as nancy exclaimed when i brought it to office) we pass by a marketplace as i looked longingly at the fresh produce on display, but was unable to take a closer exploratory look. headed instead to a supermarket to make some purchase. bought some neopolitan wafers (which were surprisingly good!) and some mozart chocolate (the unoriginal ones that is) while in the process of payment and scurry to buy a plastic bag to contain our goods, i took off my gloves in a hurry and prolly lost my wedding band there and then. didn't notice till i reached back to hotel. came to the conclusion that the wedding band was lost for good since the possibility of it being on the bus became zero after a frantic search. one word to describe "sad" wj said that nevermind it was just an item, and maybe we could buy another ring since we are heading to the amsterdam diamond factory in a few days time. to me there's still a hint of sadness because the ring held much significance for me. on a side track, most dinners were chinese style because it was to break the monotony of european breakfast (which consists of eggs, ham, cheese, croissants every day, basically i was excitedly wolfing them down the first 2/3 days but slowly grew a lil sick, hence switching to cereal, LOL), lunch. day 6: headed to innsbruck (another one of my favourites)to see the golden roof situated in the old town. (hmm what do i love about innsbruck, i think the setting is quite close to salzburg! relaxed atmosphere and all), also visited the swarovski crystal shop. the displays were a sight to behold but of course the items are accompanied with a hefty pricetag. LOL had a nice lunch of smoked fish (cant remember the type now!)with some salad and salad dressing that taste close to wasabi but of course isn't! wj had a mishmash of potatoes and meat which was great too! after that we headed towards switzerland, and made a short stopover at vaduz which was the capital city of liechtenstein (one of the world's richest countries, unknown to me haha!) it was somewhat nice but as compared to salzburg and innsbruck that struck a cord with me, vaduz never did. after a few hours of ride, we reached lucerne. just beautiful! we walked along the chapel bridge and i looked over the lake and saw ducks swimming playfully, thats true peace!, saw a sad lion monument(yes lions seem to be symbolic in europe, most cities have lion statues) day 7: yea we were even more prepared for the cold this time, with thermal wear and more layers hehe! started excursion to engelberg (think there was a train ride...)along the way taking beautiful pictures of the ice capped mountains at really close range(afterall we are ascending to mt titlis!) took a cable car ride whilst enjoying the pure whiteness of snow :) we reached the peak somewhat at 10000 feet, wj was not feeling so well as he felt dizzy, i was totally fine except i felt my heart beat faster perhaps to channel more oxygen to my other body parts more quickly. yea some people do experience high altitude sickness, and i'm glad i'm not one of them cos i would have missed the fun! we ate some lunch before heading out onto the viewing platform. standing at such height overlooking the area was absolutely breathtaking! wj took a picture of me hands outstretched towards the sky, and yes at that time i feel like i'm on top of the world! we went into a watch shop, and we thought of szehan who collects swatch watches, cos there's a limited edition of mt titlis swatch which cannot be found elsewhere, we decided to buy for her. we then went down to have some movenpick icecream and kept the icecream scoop for memory after descending from mt titlis, we headed towards another city, interlaken. our hotel view was absolutely great! from the balcony we could see the mountain in the distance and below was a beautiful garden, this was my favourite hotel hehheh... took a stroll through the streets which were pretty quiet around 6 plus in the evening. headed to a restaurant in the casino for a cheese fondue dinner, was exciting for me because i've never had cheese fondue before! there was entertainment there as well, with singing (yodling to be exact), dancing, chinking of materials like bells, and bottles to make music was just creative! wj volunteered to play the long pipe (cant remember whats it called..) out of the volunteers only he couldn produce any sound from it, that was the funniest moment for me. there was also a coin rolling and singing afterwhich the performer goes into the audience to let them try out the coin rolling. i did it and it was pretty fun! wj took a video of me doing that hehe dipping bread into the cheese was awesome, but at first i didn't like it.. it took like 2/3 bites before i enjoyed it LOL, call it adapting to new taste! the cheese had a hint of wine, and as we heard from james, cheese fondue cannot be done without some wine... hmmm i wonder how true is it? :D day 8: jungfraujoch! it was slightly higher than mt titlis, another few hundred metres or so. we went on a train first, followed by i think 2 different cable cars before reaching our destination. *enjoys pure whiteness once again. noticed the skiing activity going on at mt titlis and jungfrau and marvelling in the memory of my prior experience in korea 11 years ago! had lunch : spaghetti and swiss sausage and swiss flag design strawberry and vanilla icecream! we then headed onto the platform to enjoy the snowy scenery. it was freezing at -13 degrees! and it was snowing and windy, we went out for a short while and couldnt take it anymore and so reentered into the warm interior. :)everything we did was slow and steady cos we did not want to overexert on the highlands after descending from jungfrau, headed back to our hotel to enjoy our inexpensive cup noodles, oh yes, we also bought some bbq chicken from a supermart. nice!! day 9: travelled to schaffhausen to see the widest waterfall in europe, the waters were clear and we could see many fishes in there (ooooh...) crossed over the border to germany, the blackforest. and then to lake titisee where we had lunch: pork knuckle, sausages and of course beer! we tried their dark beer and it goes superbly well with the meats. after that we ate the famous blackforest cake, it was awesome! i love the wine flavour and berry in it :) so tempted to buy an extra piece.. lol then after lunch headed to the cuckoo clock centre where there was a demonstration of how the clocks were made. the shop was filled with soooo many cuckoo clocks of various shapes and sizes. wj wanted to get one for our new house, but then the more i thought about the cleaning, the more i was hesitant and we ended up not buying any. walked along the small town and of course had time for icecream, took the coffee flavor this time and its soooo yummmyyyy! then we headed to heidelberg for a night's stay. apparently we were caught in the jam and reached there quite late in the evening. we could not see much of the scenery, probably a beautiful sculptured bridge and the castle in the distance. ate chinese food and bought a bottle of german icewine, costing us about 25euros! it was quite a small bottle actually but the wine was sweeeeettt just the way i like it! hehe my regret was that we didn have time to tour abit of heidelberg. day 10: in the morning, we headed onto the highway towards cologne. visited the famous cologne cathedral. much of what i could remember was that its exterior walls were kind of blackish with patches of white. james mentioned that the church has been undergoing cleaning but due to lack of funds, it was like a start and stop thing. nonetheless it was still lovely. (as most europe cathedrals are) next destination was netherlands, amsterdam. it was basically a bicycling city, and there's canals in places too, something like venice :)there were some boathouses along the canals because of the lower rental there and could easily move from place to place. we could see people relaxing and bbq-ing on their boathouses, such is their freedom that i admire... headed to the city square, i cannot say enough that i love almost ALL the city squares in europe!! saw the royal palace, church of amsterdam and national monument. beautiful architecture yes! we also walked along the famous red light district, and they are real open as posters of nudity can be seen outside shops, even large glass displays of scantily clad women waving to people along the street. weed smell was all pervasive, and made wj queasy. yes it is fairly obvious the difference between weed and cigarette smoke which i cannot quite describe in words, except to just take a breath. we were also told to not enter shops that say "coffeeshop" because the coffee or cakes there might contain a lil extra something. yea it was really an experience i would say. day 11: went to a dutch village where there are windmills and cottages, and of course we see a wide expanse of the green flat field :) saw a demo on cheese making and proceeded to go to the shopping area, where we bought our smoked cheese and syruped waffles (mmmm.... yummy!) whilst otherw were busily making their purchases, we headed out to a little stakeout, which was a higher platform overlooking the area, was nice from a higher vantage point and we enjoyed the remains of our bk lunch comprising of cheese nuggets (yea cant get these in sg) we then headed to gasssan diamond factory to look at how the diamonds were cut and saw beautiful displays of jewelry. and thats also where i bought a diamond ring to replace my lost wedding band. though it was small carated, it displayed a 121 cut which can only be found in amsterdam. hehe talk about a longlasting souvenir! :D (others bought LV and what not LOL) after that we headed for a canal cruise and basically saw most of the main city. houses were really small, (and we complain about our sg pigeon holes LOL), there were hooks on the outside of the houses, so that furniture could be pulleyed upwards and through windows, basically the staircases were to narrow to accommodate furniture movement, like wow! day 12: we continued on to brussels, the capital of belgium. we dropped by a famous structure called the atomium, frankly speaking it was kinda boring to look at, nothing spectacular except it's shaped like an atom as its name suggests. we then headed to the city centre, looking at the royal laeken palace, manneken pis and grand place. beautiful architecture like wow again! we also went into godiva shop, afterall belgium was the birthplace, but ended up not buying any chocolate, whoo but the chocolates looked and smelled heavenly! we also walked along the streets at souvenir shops and hunting for other architecture worth taking pictures of :) after that we stopped by a shop that sells waffles with toppings (mmm.... awesomeness!) and opposite there was a beer shop which sells all kinds of beer, i mean it! like fruit beers and what not, seldom heard of ingredients, however, due to our budget constraint we did not buy any to try. after that we headed towards paris. by evening we reached our destination and boarded a cruise along river seine. the buildings along both sides were as usual gorgeous and then the iconic eiffel tower bathed in orange light standing tall and magnificent! day 13: continued our paris excursion. boarded the bus for half the morning passing by the important landmarks of paris, namely, napoleon's arc de triomphe (kai xuan men as i first heard of this in a chinese drama) a part of this arc was under preservation so we could not exactly take a full picture of it, champs elysees (like the orchard road in sg ), place de la concorde (think thats the place where we got sa-muned, apparently we were 'picked' by the parisian police for traffic violation, some of us clambered down the bus thinking that since the bus door was open we were free to roam. of course there was some confusion of instructions and then we got the ticket, in short the bus operator and tour guide paid for us. some unhappiness there but overall still enjoyed the rest of the trip. after that we proceeded to printemps (a shopping place like our suntec city) where the branded goods are housed in 3 towers.? we just browsed through quickly and headed out along the parisian streets. afterall our aim is not to shop till we drop, but rather to take in all the beautiful sights, sounds, and food! :) i don't understand how people could spend like close to 6/7 hours shopping?!! we were on foot most of the way, stopping by a french eatery, but wj's french onion soup taste was probably spoilt as the thing we envisioned was way different from what was served. if all french onion soup tasted like that, we would have been really disappointed. the soup was waaaaaaayyyy too salty. yes we were told that europeans like their food pretty salty since in winter their taste buds would become less sensitive. to us, it feels like we were eating more salt than food. it was a pity that we had to waste it. as we explored on foot, we came to the louvre museum (where the renowned mona lisa picture hangs, but i heard from my colleague that it is really quite a small portrait and imagine a huge group of ppl gathering to look at it!), however since it was closed on tuesdays, we could only hang around outside. but my god, it was already so lovely outside!! just turn 360 degrees and see the sculptures on the tops of the huge complex! after that we continued walking along the seine, and went onto the bridge of locks (i heard this was the original one, before other countries had their own lock bridges) there was a busker playing (as is quite a fairly common sight to see busking)and a wedding couple taking pictures... sooooo romantic just being on the bridge even in broad daylight teehee :D we also went into the famous notre dame cathedral, it was pretty dark in there because of the dim lighting, but nevertheless managed to take some photos, beautiful! (on that night, we watched the hunchback of notre dame cartoon, and i was like, yeah thats exactly it!) after that we walked to the park near the eiffel tower and again took pictures of it, feeling that in the daytime, the tower also looks good! :) we settled down to some deck chairs to rest our tired feet while taking in all the relaxed atmosphere. afterwhich it was time to head back to our meeting point. regret in paris : did not get to see moulin rouge because the tour grp was not enthusiastic about it, oh well... day 14: we took eurostar from paris to london in about 3 hours (kind of like the last time i travelled from taipei to hualien) had a dim sum lunch at the chinatown area which was not bad, and then headed on the city tour where we saw the houses of parliament, big ben and westminister abbey (the wow factor), buckingham palace with its white exterior and sculptures along the street leading there, trafalgar square (in my opinion loses to most city centres as it was less magnificent), london bridge (which wasn't as grand as i thought, don't have a clue as to why there will be wellknown song about it falling down), tower bridge and tower of london (also wow) we excused ourselves from shopping and proceeded to our usual exploration to the place where we would head to to watch "wicked" which was at victoria apollo theatre. london is really the place to go to for musicals as most areas have theatres and ticketing booths, (very much like us going to the movies), phantom of the opera, wicked, billy elliot, jersey boys just to name a few. at king's cross station, which is pretty much like the main station, we ate fish and chips (by the way it was awesome!) and we also saw wahlah! krispy kreme!!! i haven eaten those before but the queue in sg was long for those, but no queue was in sight in london and we scrambled to buy some to eat during the show. (haha) great first time experience of krispy kreme and wicked was wickedly good, except at the beginning the sound system was alil off. day 15: half day to ourselves before we were homeward bound (awwww.....sniffs) we bought a full day pass (after much calculation it was still worth it) and travelled to several places which now i couldn quite recall... ( i think knightsbridge was one of them) nevertheless, we went back to the area near the buckingham palace, though we did not see the change of guards as we were at a cafe enjoying carrot cake and red velvet cake (yummy!!) and of course coffee :) we walked through st james park and the other parks which kind of connected anyway (i think hyde park.?, it was beautiful and relaxing hehe. the flowers were in full bloom, and we saw ducks swimming in the pond, a squirrel who wasn't shy and basically greenery. also walked through some monuments and took pictures. in the afternoon we headed back to our hotel meeting point, loaded our bags and proceeded to heathrow airport for our flight home. nothing much remembered of heathrow airport, except that we waited for a long time for the tax refunds, had a salad and was constantly on alert for our flight schedule. the 12 hr flight back was bad for me, as i couldn't get myself to sleep. and of course the following 2 days was jetlag and had us sleeping like pigs for 12 hours! and so marks the end of this memorable blogpost.. till my next trip, Burbye!!! :D

managing emotional turmoil, especially anger and annoyance

Yes as this post suggest, i'm facing an emotional turmoil with anger and annoyance. i don't know if its due to me growing older and getting more easily angry/annoyed? or the fact that my source is close to me, closer to me than before marriage (like duh... you see ur husband/wife everyday) In the past, I was able to ignore him or "scold" him via messages when i'm home, i can also sleep over it and the next morning i would feel so much better, all without his physical presence... Now after marrying my other half, i'm finding it so much harder... i have to ignore him and/or "scold" him face to face, and my anger/annoyance the next morning will still be there, and the cycle begins... this morning he says i'm playing the 'girl' game and plans to ignore me, i was downright upset and left the house to figure about things... thats when it hit me.... welcome to the world of married-hood! Now what would be the best solution when such scenario arises? its not possible to not see him until the next morning unless i flee back to my home and i couldn possibly do that as its tantamount to lead to divorce in the long run... I am caught in this crappy situation with the hope of voicing out on this platform and feeling better after that. I cant exactly communicate this face-to-face to my other half without breaking into tears, and he will think i'm using it as some kind of (blackmail? girl game?)or being "princessy" or whatever, basically my tears/crying give me strength to explain my emotional troubles as i can "blare" out all my frustrations (mostly incoherently) at least thats what i think...maybe i'm wrong..? O...K.... after typing it all out into sentences i'm feeling much much much better and also i'm not physically near my source. i can seek comfort in that, until tonight

my straight talking character

basically i'm a very straight talking person especially when i joke... sometimes (or most times) people dont get it. although i wonder if i tried to change this 'flaw' of mine will it matter? some people just choose to dislike you when time goes by..

if i were to change, will i still be 'me'? i'm afraid not, so perhaps, i should just stick with frens that appreciate me for who i am.

thoughts about the big E

ive always thought i was apathetic, but when i became caught up in the media, with reading articles and swarming comments, i became really enthused, all the way to the big E day and days after....

and if news and comments are believable, i think our G has got some big problems.
apologies aside, do they really know what's most important in our minds right now? the average S-reans? what do we REALLY need? not some kind of empty promises surely!

a thing that struck me was if someone was to be one of the country's policy makers, and he/she is only a rookie(abeit the not so mature) and endorsed by a senior, can we be able to put our trust in them? in view of more capable seniors being booted out, i would think it is unfair for the people who only had the choice to decide between the lesser of 2 evils....

i think, in the positive light, it can be said that the System was meant to help rookies in learning how to govern our country because sooner or later it will be handed over to the new generation, however, in the negative light as P is generally dirty, the System just seems to serve the purpose of stamping out the other "voices"

watever the case, lets hope that singapore will continue to move forward, to a world class country and citizenship :)

back from HK!

yes! i'm back from hk, today marks one week from the time i flew off from here :D wow, time flies but at the same time i feel that i have done so many things in that one week.... 1 week was equivalent to 2 weeks! LOL
since i'm busy now, ive to come out from this entry
just one sentence ~ "HK and MACAU ROCKS!!!" :DDD

today is coming to an end :)

today is gonna be the start of my 9 day long (or should i say 8 days) hiatus from work :))) going off to macau and hongkong next week from 21-26th, yeeha! can feel the excitement creeping back in and plus now work is more relaxed. just previously i was mad with myself for missing out many things for my client, but most of that (i hope!) is over...

tonite will be watching tron in 3d. i dun really like to watch 3d stuff because it feels taxing for my eyes, plus the glasses constant slipping down my nose irritates the hell out of me, i find myself unable to enjoy the movie experience fully.
ah well, i guess its fine cos the special effects are supposed to be good..?

wanted to watch narnia/ranpunzel but the timing is really bad... and i have work tomoro (ya, its a sat and i'm still going down to customer place) so there's that....

everyday passes so quick

scary, everyday seems to be passing so fast. recently met up with 2 frens, and i was telling them that by now i'm not looking forward to counting how old i am... as i recalled i was excited when i finally reached 21 and was happily counting up 17,18,19,20,21! the magic 21! but rite after, when i started working, i realised that 22, 23 and 24 is coming rite up in the next few days seems scary... i noe how my mum feels.... and really i'm not exactly keen to keep track of my age. no wonder, women say that age is a secret, i believe that somehow it comes to the point where when someone asks abt their age, they had to minus of from their birthdate to give the correct answer! so they mite as well save this trouble... lol, and i'm beginning to do that! OMG >.<

rite, shall end now, before i become all so complainy about getting older....

freedom is mine, again!

haha, yepz, my parents are away in china for 9 days, so the house is mine... muahaha.. and also been religiously finding ways to exercise be it climbing up stairs at mrt stations wherever possible, walking extra bit longer... lol
but it feels really good, after sweating it out! it definitely has something to do with hormones heheh ;)

abt work, going down to a customer place with a senior helps me to learn better, esp when he's patient and will explain to me if i have any queries. best of all, i can learn how to interact better with my customers. my senior's really good!

and later i'm going down to another customer's place alone.. hoping to be able to practise on wat ive learnt and plus recently been PMS-sy, really wishing i can be as patient as i can be... she's an auntie afterall.... oh welllllll....

yeah, im on a diet

ive been on a diet for about a few weeks, tryin to make a point to exercise everyday. of course it is good that ive committed to a goal of losing to 50kg. now i think ive lost ard 1kg or so. its tough, but at least i noe i'm now a lil' healthier than before rather than the eat, sit and sleep routine.

today i hope to lose another 500g or 1kg if possible. :)
